  • Yes. You must complete our medical coding course and receive a certificate of completion in order to sit for a national certification exam.

  • No. You only need certification from one of the national associations.

  • In order to get certified, you need a certificate of completion from a medical coding course. You do not need a college degree in medical coding to get certified and it will not improve your chances of getting hired. Employers are looking for national certification, not the place you earned your certificate of completion from. You can save a lot of money and time by just completing an online medical coding course. A college degree is not preferred by employers.

  • No, but most companies require a license.

  • You are allowed 12 months to complete the course. You will not receive a certificate of completion, if not completed within that time. You would need to sign up for the course again and pay the fee again.

  • You can get a full refund within 48 hours of payment. There are no refunds after 48 hours.

  • Everything you need to complete this course is included. The latest ebooks/books (i.e. CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS) that you’ll need with the online curriculum, will be provided.
